ABOUT NORA

Finding yoga felt like coming home to myself. I have found a new appreciation for my body. A love that does not depend on any outer standards, but comes from a place of nurturing and unconditional love.

In my younger years I suffered from asthma and back problems between the shoulders. I later learned that this pain was connected to my belief that it wasn’t safe for me to open my heart, so I held a lot of tension in that area of my body. The mind and the body are connected and the energy that follows our thought patterns can become trapped in our bodies.

Every pain wants to teach us something so that we can heal and grow. Practicing yoga I learnt to feel safe in my body and to set these stored emotions free. When I am moving on my mat it feels like a deep cleanse to me that recharges my body with life force.
I want to share that feeling with others and evolve together to a higher level of health and consciousness.

One conscious breath,

in and out,

is a meditation.
